Trusting Your Path to Create Something Truly Special // with Julie Abouelela // Ep 4

How can you follow your heart when it feels like you have no support and no one believes in you? How can you build your confidence in your life path and keep believing in yourself when life gets really hard?

Joining me today is special guest, Julie Abouelela, who has created some big, bold dreams in her lifetime and has some major wisdom to share with us as a result.

Julie Abouelela is one of the most magical people I've ever met. Her capacity to love and meet people where they are is profound and she brings deep wells of empathy into everything she does.

With a rich passion for research, genetics and the ethical treatment of animals, Julie developed a new breed of dogs, called Habibi Bears, to meet the needs of today's world. She also raises and trains dogs to support those with special needs, as well as anyone who needs support with emotional healing and wellbeing.

Every time I connect with Julie I feel inspired and energized to keep listening to my heart and being brave with my life. I'm hoping you'll feel the same way after listening to this in-depth discussion on what it actually looks like to bring a major, world-changing dream to life.

Along with hearing more about Julie's story, we discuss things like:

  • How to build your confidence with hearing and knowing your own intuition so you can be wise with your big life decisions and all the little everyday choices in between

  • What it actually looks like to do this "following your heart" thing (spoiler: it's messy)

  • The concept that “You can’t get it wrong”

  • How to face the darkness in our lives and move through those dark nights of the soul into something better than we could have ever imagined

  • Tricks & skills Julie uses to stay “in flow + on fire” with her life path and bigger vision/dream/mission

Above all, Julie's message to “trust yourself” is one that we can all use a good reminder of daily.
